
Holly Dale is one of Canada's premiere directors recognized globally for her outstanding, award-winning television and cinema work crafted over the past twenty-five years. Ms. Dale has directed movies, entire mini-series, award winning documentaries and numerous pilots such as Law & Order: Toronto, which premiered as the highest rated original scripted drama in Canada in over a decade. Transplant, which holds the distinction of being the #1 drama series of the year in both Canada and its US NBC run. Mary Kills People was selected by Variety as one of their top ten series choices of the year. Other hit series pilots include Durham County and Being Erica.
Ms. Dale was tapped to be the Executive Producer/Director for S1 of Netflix/Skydance series FUBAR starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, recent Oscar nominee Monica Barabro and Fortune Femster. Previously, she was EP/D of the Batwoman series for its 3 year run for Berlanti Productions/WBTW and Transplant during its 4 year run.
Most recently nominated for the 2025 Canadian Screen Award as Best Director of Law & Order: Toronto, “the best part of my work, is interacting with the many talented people behind and in front of the camera” & is most proud of the 16 total nominations her collaborative work helping launch this series has currently generated. Her previous CSAward wins as Best Director include Transplant, Mary Kills People and Durham County. Holly is also the recipient of FIVE [5] individual Directors Guild of Canada Best Director trophies for Transplant, Mary Kills People, Durham County,
Flashpoint and Just Cause.
Highlights of the many extraordinary series Holly has been a guest director for include Will Trent, Dexter, The Americans, Seal Team, Chris Carter's X-Files, Joan Allen's The Family, Dick Wolf's Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, Law & Order: SVU, SWAT, NCIS, Halle Berry's Extant, Bradley Cooper's Limitless, Marvel's Agents of the S.H.I.E.L.D, Steven Spielberg's Falling Skies as well as 12 individual hours of the Jerry Bruckheimer anthological Cold Case series and is set to direct an early block to Bruckheimer’s SHERIFF COUNTRY series summer of ‘25.
